Offline Event and Community Lead

Full-Time in Toronto, ON - Mid Level - Offline

In this role the Offline Event and Community Lead will define, create, and execute an integrated offline activation strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement and revenue through community building initiatives and event production. The Offline Event and Community Lead will be accountable for building the brand and supporting business results IRL and in Mejuri showrooms. Reporting directly to the Offline Manager the Offline Event and Community Lead will be responsible for a set of KPIs that support revenue and community growth across markets.

The Role:

  • Create, develop and lead strategy for in-market events, activations, pop-ups and collaborations that drive revenue and brand recognition for the Mejuri brand offline and in showrooms
  • Create a specific new store/market plan for any new store openings or pop-ups
  • Identify community events in-market and bring them forward
  • Lead local offline strategies to support top-tier marketing campaigns
  • Work with Store Managers across markets to conceptualize activations and execute them at scale
  • Develop and execute on plans to support specific stores sales and community engagement
  • Lead and be part of execution of fully integrated experiential and and event marketing
  • Lead HQ based community initiatives for Mejuri

  • Strong strategic and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to a high-change environment
  • Ability to produce events and retail experiences from ideation to execution
  • Comfortable rolling up their sleeves to execute events; painting, lifting and perfecting the details; no task is too small
  • Capable of problem-solving on the fly

The Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in community engagement, experiential activations, production and events marketing
  • Proven experience developing and driving experiential marketing, PR events and media initiatives from inception to execution
  • Reputation for being flexible, energetic, hard-working, inspirational, enthusiastic
  • Working events outside of 9-5 office hours and on the occasional weekend is required
  • Consumer experience with a youthful influential brand preferred
  • Extremely accurate with excellent attention to detail
  • Retail experience an asset
  • Valid drivers license
